Hello! My name is Carl Ransom Rogers and I was born on January 8, 1902 in Oak Park, Illinois. Some call me old, I call myself life experienced. No bid deal or anything but I am one of the founding fathers of psychotherapy research. I have written 16 books and numerous journal articles. I got my PhD from Columbia and started teaching at the University of Ohio in 1940. Six years later I was elected the president of American Psychological Association (APA). And I was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize in 1987.
